| | Posted: | | | | Cast: from DVD closing credits 1) Roles and the capitalizations now match in the credits, including typo's like the capital "S" in "PM'S Chauffer, Terry" 2) McDougall's name corrected (S//M instead of /M/S) 3) Moniz As Credited (and more common per our Lookup DB) Crew: from DVD credits 1) Freemantle Credited As Sound Supervisor, therefore Sound Studio: Studio Canal credited on screen (and jacket) between Universal and WT Audio: Commentary decodes to Pro Logic on my receiver Overview: Italics and Bold now quoted Scans: from DVD jacket; Much better detail in the bow on the front; skin tones and colors more accurate to the jacket; text sharper. I'm assuming the glare spot between Grant & McCutcheon on front is an artifact in original scan. My jacket doesn't have it. | | Posted: | | | | Crew: 1) Presley: he wrote "Love is all Around" in the 1960s which is being parodied here as "Christmas is all Around". He is credited in the song credits, because it is essentially the original song, but i don't evidence of any contribution to the parody version. It's not an original song. Cast: was reviewing the Blu-ray credits (i used my DVD credits as a starting point to save some typing) and found a few errors. I re-verified these changes against my DVD copy. 1) McPartlin: Credited As: more unique titles (6) in CLT under "Ant" and only ywo (including this film) under "Anthony". Many likely incorrect Love Actually profiles under "Ant" 2) Yuk Sim Yau reparsed. This is the only film credit for him i can find and i cannot find evidence it should be parsed other than Y/S/Y 3) Godley/Turner/Venegas/Costa should not have periods after the Mr/Mrs 4) Garwood: case of role changed to match on screen. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it! |
