As for the "no"-voters: yes, at face value the CLT results do indeed show a very small lead for "André the Giant", but if you look closer, you'll find that two third of those entries are (uncredited) ones for copies of 'Conan the Destroyer' where the actor name was mined from IMDb. Taking these out of the equasion, you'll find that "Andre the Giant" is the most-credited form. Note that his official website doesn't use the accent as well - I feel we've all just been propagating an incorrect IMDb-name here.
