To distinguish between the two, the birth year can only be attached to one of them. According to the forum's pinned "List of Accepted Birth Years with Documentation"-thread right here, the 1965 birth year is attached to the UK actor Ian Roberts, which means that this American Ian Roberts has to be listed without his birth year.
