This DVD set identifies itself as episodes of The Golden Age of Television, so this contribution follows TV Series Rules. (I will submit child profiles also.) Film titles appear as episode titles. Since the films appear in their entirety within the episodes: I used original series titles as Original Title (series titles and episode titles will fit in the Original Title for child profiles, allowing title searches); and profiled Cast and Crew for the films under their own Episode Dividers.
Overall Runtime, including "Introductions" is 545:30. Added Comedy (for No Time for Sergeants) and Television to Genres. Studios per credits. Interviews are incorporated into the program "Introductions" so should not be a separate Feature. English Subtitles are available. Retitled Discs per TV Series convention.
Crew and Cast per credits unless otherwise specified. Rod Steiger appears in the "Introduction" to Marty, but was not credited. Roy Scheider's uncredited appearance in Wind from the South (at timestamp about 22 min to 24 min) is pointed out in the "Introduction."
When Bang the Drum Slowly aired, it ran long and the end credits were not shown. The production company published the credits in a full page ad in Variety, the following week. (Absent an "official site," this should be accepted as an authoritative source.)
Full ad. Note: Screenwriter and OMB are credited in the blurb on the lower left.
Credits portion blown up and tweaked for readability.
The Comedian has Non-standard credits: The stars' names are given audibly at the beginning (roles added from the film itself). Uncrediteds from Director John Frankenheimer's commentary track (also Asst. Dir. Drew - no last name - maybe Drew Handley?). The writers are identified audibly by Claudette Colbert, in her introduction to the show.
Wine and Roses episode title has "The," but the film itself does not.
Please let me know if I made any errors. Thank you.
