As an Australian, I think I can offer an objective view given that most of us have no great love for either the poms or the yanks,

Typically bloody Aussie

No mention of cricket for the next month please, unless by a huge miracle we keep freddie sober and do ok

Dream on.....we are still celebrating our 5-0 flogging of your team in the Ashes. That is the first 5-0 result since the 1920-21 series when Armstrong's team won by the same margin. The test matches weren't time limited then. History may well say that Flintoff's team were the worst to ever tour Australia.

I've always had much contempt for the "this is not movie profiler" argument.

Agreed. If DVDProfiler is for profiling DVDs, where are the fields for Authoring Company, Macrovision Protection, layer transition point, etc.

DVDProfiler is clearly a program to profile movies released on DVD, not the DVD itself.

For me the data relating to the acual DVD release (e.g. region code, audio tracks, subtitles, run time) is much more important than the data which is more ore less universal to the movie (credits, prod. studios etc.).
