couldn't you have a "null" or "multiple" as a choice?

Most CoO's seem to be easy to figure out. The others we can vote on OR if it is obvious there are more than one CoO then select "multiple"

Of course that means Ken has to add that as an option

You're right the majority of films will be easy, but it does seem a shame to lump all the others together using "multiple". I would prefer to give the US credit for their (slight) contribution to New Zealand's LoTR trilogy...

I think the CoO is pointless.  Even if we had multiple choices, there would still be arguments.  Of what possible value is the CoO?  I personally don't see it.  There are even some cases where none of us even know the production company in question, let alone what country it belongs to. My vote is to get rid of it.

OK, have finally figured out how to find information on old companies at Companies House.

It confirms that Lycanthrope Films Limited was indeed a UK company, which were dissolved in 1987.

What with PolyGram Films also being British, hard to argue that the CoO here is not UK.

I think a silver bullet would work better

For some reason the link no longer works

To see the info, basically just need to search for "Lycanthrope Films" and tick the "Dissolved names" box rather than the default "Current / recently dissolved names" box.
