Is the 1960 film Sink the Bismark considered a US or a UK film?

IMDB lists Fox as being the Production Company, but under country they only list UK.

Which one is correct?

I would have gone for US, since the production company is located there. But this is as to my knowledge, still a open question. Some would say the moneyholder is the one you use, and other think you should use the production company.
If I were you, I would have waited for this to clear up a little.

Forget what IMDb says is the production company. What do the actual onscreen credits list as the production company?

Just because it's "A John Brabourne Production" does not mean it's a UK production on it's face.

The problem with this type of credit is that it is often only used to say "John Brabourne is the Producer".

Being the Producer in most cases is just a job and does not a mean that there is a company known as "John Brabourne Production Company".

I do not know the particulars in this specific case.  Just be careful about jumping to the conclusion that a credit of "A "John Doe" Production" means there is a production company associated with that credit.  Sometimes yes, mostly no.

EDIT:  After a quick search I found that John Brabourne Productions" is an actual production company, so UK is the correct CoO in this case.

My whole point here is that this type of credit required some research.

Given the issues with CoO, I don't think this is a typo.

I need a few sips when I'm working on that ...
