I'd say go with disc ID, seems the only option unless Ken says otherwise.

I have a few of these, too. A couple of them were accepted into the IVS database but it's impossible to submit them in v3. It's all very well to say "add by Disc ID" but whn it's one of their Stargate seasons, for example, that means that you run into the old disc one/complete season disc ID clash.

I couldn't figure out how to send a scan on the forum post so I sent one to marcelb7
by mail maybe, Ken can allow these short upc to be validated somehow. I dont think disc ids are really the way to go since they are the standard release disc housed in special packaging and as Naja state it can run into problems on some sets. to give you an idea the upc for the Serenity tin is 784707

Skip - You where close, the Disney thing was called ez-D and was a variant of Flexplay.

Thanks for testing it with a cuecat. I think these barcodes are made up from the articlenumbers that Ezydvd uses in their system. They could be unique, but if these numbers are to be allowed in dvdprofiler, every 6 digit number could be contributed to the database. And since a lot of people try to contribute bootlegs or made-up barcodes, I'm not really considering that to be an option.

My suggestion is adding it by disc id of the first disc, and add every other disc in the disc tab (not as a boxset per se). You can even use the dist.trait, i.e. "Ezydvd Limited Edition" or something like that.

All the best,
Marcel

Those both contain one DVD in a simple keepcase, so I just omit the tin.
The box that had to go in, Battlestar Galactica - The Complete Series (1978) has a made up UPC (not submitted of course)
