| | Posted: | | | | I think it's not so much teh Rules that are hindering plain folks from contributing anything - it seems more the 'tude some people have here. Politeness and helpfulness are not weakness; rudeness does not equate openeness and being direct.
After all those decades it turns out I have to defend Netiquette - you know, the other self-imposed Rules telling us to avoid certain punctuation, words, spelling etc. One might not agree with them but it clearly helps those not having a natural talent for communicating. |

Both of you are now coming across as little but whiners. You don't like the Rules, you made thatr very clear as did edinhop, you both seem to believe that you deserve some sort of special dispensation. It has been explained and re-explained and still you continue to whine. Going on about it dos neither of you any good.

The use of the IMDB is a custom in these contributions. I have at least ones 80 DVD's that had been modified the contributions for having enclosed sources of the IMDB.
I am remaking the profiles to compose as the rule originally.
Sincerely I do not understand the revolt of “edinhop” since also I was some times wronged with carried through works that had been disrespected.
The rules can not be the best ones but they are point of initial configuration. I go to enumerate in notes everything that is not in the credits or that they cannot be confirmed in the DVD. |

I agree to you but the system would have to be more rigid with the contributions. I follow the rules fully also using a copy online in mine desktop to remove the doubts but unhappyly I have seen approved and substituted contributions for that they do not respect the rules. What we can make this not to occur? |

Thats good that you follow the rules. As with contributions that don't follow the rules, sometimes they sneak by and if you see a mistake before its approve, vote no. If you find a contribuition that doesn't follow the rules, fix it and make sure you mention what was wrong in the new contribution. | | | We're on a mission from God.
