The head shots are usually coming from various sources over the net including IMDb (~30%), artistic agencies (~20%), other movie related sites (~30%), newspapers (~10%), etc  (~10%).  These head shots are not contributed at invelos.  This is why users exchange their database independently usig third-party file hosting services.

In the file I sent, there were many french actors photos which came from screen captures of the DVD. Anti-IMDb (I'm not one of them, I find very interesting things on that site) should be happy...

We haven't read from Juoquim lately,  I don't know if he's still involved in the process.  On my part, I'm still updating my headshots DB (didn't upload a new release yet) and I will eventually offer it to everybody.

If somebody has a valuable work done, I could include it in my DB if I could get a hand on it...

Thank you for the little update(I already have your old version). I have found a few good ones.

I have found two errors:
Colin Farrell 1938 -> Headshot from actual Colin Farrell (Alexander)
Lucinda Jenney -> Headshot from Maria Bello

We need a new version of the Master Database. I have import all privat databases, which were posted here by the users. Everytime when i import a new private one, there were much of old headshots with less quality, because nearly everyone have missed a import.

For fans of classic cinema, I found a website that is a goldmine for golden age actors.  These guys get down to the "B" level contract players.

As a follow up, I checked the visitor's agreement to the website.  I've bolded what I thought to be the pertinent information regarding our personal use.

That's a very pretty shade of gray.

I think I would interpret it the same way you do to be honest.  On the other hand, I'm not sure if they would be happy if these made it into something called the Headshot Master Database.
Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.

I presume you're right about the database, perhaps I chose an unfortunate thread to post this in.  Seemed to me the people who would most care would be the ones who check out this thread.  Regardless, adding these images to a master distributed database would probably stretch the user agreement beyond recognition.

We have just start to work with version 3. People, who have added many headshots to their db, please upload your Personal Database till Saturday. I will upload a workmaster on Saturday (At the moment the personal db needs 126MB).
Then we could need some help. It would be nice, if you want to help. Write what categories you work.

If you are a fan of a special genre like TV Shows of the 80s, Swedish movies, Splatter/Horror etc. you can add this.
Otherwise we can split the movies/work in decades.

Especially we need:
A list with people who have a birth year in the invelos database.
People from Asia. There are nearly no headshots, yet.

I've been working on a bunch of Italian film actors from the 1950s and 1960s so I'll contribute that when I'm done.
