I looked for the two dll's but the only ones are the ones your plugin installed.  I did a search of my entire c: drive but no luck.

I miss spoke to early,  I did find the Interop.bpac.dll and replaced the one your plugin installed but the other one I can not seem to find.

I did read somewhere it could be a conflict with .net.  Not sure.

I was hoping that somebody else using the plugin would weigh in. I know that there are others. We probably need to start comparing system configuration, dlls, etc. I'll make a list that is on my X64 system and where they are. And if need be, I'll send them to you.

BTW, good job with all the searching etc. It is helpful when users know their way around Windows.

Here is what I am running:

Windows 7 SP 1, X64
P-Touch Editor 5.0
b-PAC 3.0 Client Component (3.0.016)
Brother QL-570 Print Driver

Rather than break mine, I prefer to ask you to try what I have until I get time to debug the later software.

Sorry for your troubles.

Today I took some time to explore the problems recently reported. I installed the latest QL-570 driver (which included a printer firmware update), latest bPacSDK and P-Touch Editor 5.1 on Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

I was able to print existing .LBL  templates both with the editor and my unchanged installed plugin.

Then I edited the .LBL file with the Editor 5.1 and saved it as:

.LBX format - the label displays properly in the plugin but there is an error when attempting to print.
.LBL (4.2 format) - label displays and prints properly.

So, I would suggest using "Save AS 4.2 LBL" as a workaround. If that doesn't work for you, it might mean that the bug is related to running in the Windows 8 / 8.1 environment.

Hi,

It's been a long time.  Still use your plugin with much pleasure.  It works great.  Is it actualy possible to print for 1 dvd box or multiple flagged dvd boxes (for examples tv-series with various dvd's) multiple lables with the same info in on time.  If not this would be a great add.

Thanks

Hello, nice to hear from you and thanks for the kind words. I remember those early days when I was learning how to make plugins and you were my only hope in testing.

If I understand your question correctly, you basically want multiple copies for any labels you print. My guess is that it is possible for me to code that.

But I am very reluctant to mess with this code. It has been so long since I wrote it. If you can figure out a way to work around it, that would be better.

My suggestion: Find the print driver for your label printer in the Control Panel of windows, and then manually set the printer properties for multiple copies and save the configuration. Then see if my plugin works without upsetting the copies parameter. If this works, you will have to remember to go back and reset the copies to 1, after you are done printing multiple.

Good news! DVDP 3.9.1 can now print barcodes in reports. See the Beta Test Forum.

It is my intention to retire this plugin, so I would encourage any user of the plugin to explore replacing it with a report template that uses your printer driver.

Let me know if any cases where this cannot be done.

Hm, I cannot change the size of the "page". I can print A5, A4 and letter, but no label-sizes (e.g. 29 mm x 90 mm - DK-11201).

Do you have a nice template that you can contribute for testing? I will work on it, but I don't have time to design the template.

I have a QL-570 which should be perfect for testing.

I took a quick look. I noticed that if you click the printer icon upper left, then click "Select/Setup Printer" button, then you can select the correct print driver and set all the properties.

Try that and let us know what happens.

Yes, I could configure my printer to print (QL-500) a label, but I can't fit a report on a label:

My first tries: left a report in landscape, right a report in portrait. Both 0.8 inch by 3.2 inch, to fit on the 1 1/7" x 3 1/2" label.
EDIT: Okay, found an error in my portrait-report...

Here is my second try:

Yes. But I'm still unable to select a label as a paper size:

There I can change the size of the label but not the size of the report.
The result is that I can print the entry on the top left side of the page (or better jet all pages) but if I would like to print a batch of labels, I couldn't print the second or third, unless I resize the report to match the size of the paper I can choose:
