When I usually insert an image that is stored over at Photobucket., their site will automatically re size and setup the image within their own parameters., meaning that I don't have  to do anything on my end before I send it over.
When I insert the same image address back to Our Invelos website-, it will reflect that image properties my particular case I see that my pixel count is 800 x 600 . It sits nice and comfy on the page and you don't have to use the 'slide bar' back and forth to see both sides of the image.
(my PC monitor BTW is 4:3 and is set for 1152 x864 -if that makes a difference) .
So why is it that some of you can insert an image (also)  from photobucket, and the pixel count is 1024 x 687  and this size is so large it throws the entire page four of the forum post in question in jeopardy..
or is this just me???

It's not you.  They're probably grabbing the URL from viewing the full version.

This is what Photo bucket says:
What do I need to know about uploading Options?

Photobucket gives you control in determining how your images get published. Pro and Free users have the ability to choose their 'options' and any images uploaded after the change will be resized to match your custom setting.

Before uploading your images to your Photobucket account, select the appropriate display or file size for your account. To prevent any resizing when images are uploaded, choose a file size that is equal to or larger than that of your images. You can do this by clicking on the 'options' link in your Upload Panel. It can be found right below the tabs for selecting the type of content you wish to upload. The options available for your account type will display.

The currently selected option will have a dot in the circle (radio button) to the left of the option. Click the radio button next to your preferred size and then click the 'Save' button. If an option is greyed out, this means the option is not available for your Photobucket account type. Selecting a size larger than your images will prevent further resizing upon upload and help expedite the upload process. If you choose to use the file size options, the file size of the original image will take precedence over the display size and any display size is accepted as long as the file size is less than your choice in the 'options'.

Images already in your account will not be modified. This setting will be used for all future images uploaded to your account.

However there is an User Option just on top of the upload window:
max image size: 800 x 600 (options) when you click on options you get:

by the looks of it we should choose option message board (640x480)
