I've done a forum search and can't find much about this (Even though there are probably hundreds of posts  ). There is one about "stunt and stunt doubles" but I'm not sure this is the same as Stand-Ins and Body Doubles, Body Doubles i think are used for nude scenes when the Actor/Actress feels they are not up to it or want to look better than they actually are.
So are Stand-Ins/Body Doubles considered part of the cast or are they treated the same as Stunts and only entered if they are credited within the cast list and ignored if credited after.

"No" to what?

No to "are Stand-Ins/Body Doubles considered part of the cast" or no to "or are they treated the same as Stunts and only entered if they are credited within the cast list and ignored if credited after"? Or to both?

I thought we entered them when they're credited on-screen among/within the regular cast list.

Standins and body Doubles it is not hard and fast because Hollywood is inconsistent SOMETIMES such people are part of the cast list but more often they are not...so the answer is it depends.

Makes the most sense to me, although maybe in the future there could be a seperate field for known body doubles to be listed. Then I can go google and connect a face with the breasts.
I know I got fooled as a kid/teen and thought I saw someone I didn't. Now I'm grown and angry about the deception!

If there's a site that lists who doubled for who in what, please provide a link. I'd be interested for sure.

OK a submission has been made quoting this tread as proof just want to get something straight as to what constitutes "Within" the cast list.

is this within or not within if there is no gap between cast and Stand-Ins/Body Doubles, does no gap mean they are part of the cast list?

I'm the contributor and as i understood from this thread and some previous Stuntpeople threads they were considered part of the cast if there was no space between the acotors and the stand-in, as it is the case with the DVD in question.

Should this discussion prove otherwise i'll of course resubmited according to consensus/rules
