I remember now all too well why I abstained from these pointless forum discussions for the last year. Well, be my guest and go on stuffing the online database with pointless crap !

*sigh*
Just because you think it is pointless crap doesn't make it so.  Lots of people think it is useful information.  I honestly don't understand what all the fuss is about.  If you don't want uncredited in your DB, it only takes a few seconds to remove them.

Yeah, and if my mother had wheels, she'd be a taxi.  Big deal.  That doesn't alter my point one iota.

Wrong.  It can take significant amounts of time.  Some of the profiles I have contain maybe a dozen and a half credited cast, and 50 or more uncredited.  Unless Ken has altered the program to allow for tagging and block deletions of this stuff, you half to scroll and delete one stinkin' line at a time.  My time is more valuable than that - most of the time anyway.

The point, however, is that very few of those uncredited entries are for anybody higher than a SAG daywager extra.  It's information that has no significance.  If it did have any, they would be in the regular cast list.  When we are such sticklers for "as credited" accuracy everywhere else, why in hell are we messing around with this stuff which is nearly impossible to verify?

It defies reason and common sense, and it clutters up the database.  (Just because we have lots of room doesn't mean we have to waste it on nonsense data.)

It is not 'wrong'.  Have you tried it?  I just deleted the entire cast list...one at a time...from the Lord of the Rings.  It took all of about 5 seconds.  You don't have to scroll at all.  Highlight the very last uncredited and hit 'remove'.  The cursor automatically jumps to the entry right above so you just hit 'remove' again.  As I said, I did this for the entire cast list of LotR and it took less than 5 seconds.  If you can't spare a second or two, well...I don't know what to say.

Again, just because it has no significance to you doesn't mean it has no significance to other people.  I have no use for most of the crew credits I enter when I update a profile.  Should I take your attitude and tell everyone else that they don't need it either?

It defies YOUR reason and common sense.  It obviously has value to somebody else it wouldn't be incorporated into the program.

What really defies reason and common sense is people continuing to beat this dead horse.  Uncredited cast is a fact of life.  There is no point in continuing to argue against it's inclusion.  Unless, of course, you like
