I am trying to find the common name for sound editor  Karen M. Baker / Karen Baker/ Karen Baker Landers
"Karen M. Baker" is credited in the following 43 titles (288 profiles): (variants of 25 films)
"Karen Baker" is credited in the following 4 titles (10 profiles): (variants of 25 films)
"Karen Baker Landers" is credited in the following 38 titles (406 profiles): (variants of 17 films)

The CLT counts are inconclusive with her being credited for the same films under multiple names due to profiles being copied from IMDB. According to IMDB a lot of the films she was credited for were assistant & roles which should not have been contributed.

Using CLT, variants of her name seems to be for variants of the following movies/ TV shows . If anybody has any of the following titles could you please let me know what she is credited as.

The answer is Karen Baker Landers. Previous attempt here. Despite those voting results, I've been using Karen Baker Landers ever since, and see: by now the database has catched up. Very good. I actually already alluded to the shifting point in that over-a-year-old-thread:

From that moment on, we only have the parsing of the name to disagree about. Isn't it great...

And what do you know? Nothing's changed. As usual, there are both K/B/L and K//B L entries in the database, and there's still no improvement in sight.

'A Good Year': Karen Baker Landers
'The Big White': Karen Baker Landers
'Matchstick Men': Karen Baker Landers
'The Island': Karen Baker Landers

I do not see a Karen Baker credited in my UK R2 copy of Das Boot: The Director's Cut, but she may have been involved with a different version?

CLT contains many profiles with her credited as Sound Editor or SSE

You might want to wait for someone else to confirm

As Das Boot was a German production and she seems to work exclusively in the US I think it's highly unlikely she should be credited on it.
Even if she was involved in some english dub, wouldn't that be the same as unit crew?
Unless of course the end credits were altered to make it look like they did the whole thing.

Any of you have the Superbit edition of Das Boot: DC?

I could see that needing some extra sound editing.

They had extra credits at the end for the English release Directors Cut & I couldn't find her any where in any role. I think this is a case of a lot of wrong profiles being copied from IMDB.
