I've tried putting the image visible but in the end I have to just put a link to it.

Don't know if this will solve your problem or not but Profiler uses the Tahoma trutype fonts.  Might want to check those.

That's the picture hrvy86 tried to post.

Regarding the screenshots (especially the missing text in the buttons), I think that a reinstall of the Tahoma.ttf will solve this. Just as mdnitoil said.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

thanks for your help guys, it was the Tahoma font missing causing the issue.

Fix follows for anyone having this issue in the future.

Download both the Tahoma fonts from this site http://www.webpagepublicity.com/free-fonts-t.html#Free%20Fonts

Then you need to install them into the operating system. Following instructions below.

To install a font, follow these steps:
Click Start, and then click Run.
Type the following command, and then click OK:
%windir%\fonts
On the File menu, click Install New Font.
In the Drives box, click the drive that contains the font that you want to add.
Note The floppy disk drive is typically drive A or drive B. The CD drive is typically drive D.
In the Folders box, click the folder that contains the font that you want to add, and then click OK.
In the List of fonts box, click the font that you want to add. To select more than one font at a time, press and hold the CTRL key while you select each font.
Click to select the Copy Fonts To Fonts Folder check box. The new font is saved in the Windows\Fonts folder.
Click OK.

- - please also note that fonts are free and there are a lot of sites out there that i came across trying to sell them.

Another way to reinstall it is your Windows setup CD-ROM. Here you'll find a file named Tahoma.tt_ . The "HowTo..." of M$ can be found here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314960/en
