If this were to be added as a Easter Egg, then by the same logic, Fight Club should have an Easter Egg stating that there is a penis shown at the end of the movie for no apparent reason.

Well, at the very least, the owner of the penis could be added as uncredited cast

Submit uncredited cast only if you have personally identified the cast (cast's member?!?) by viewing the film!

And then you need to be sure it isn't stunt co... cast!

The fact that R2D2 is in the movie should not be submitted as an Easter Egg. This is not an Easter egg.

It's an easter egg in the movie, not in the DVD, which is the purpose of the Easter Egg section of the profile.

Okie dokie. I'll withdraw the submission.

Obviously I agree with this line of thinking, but Gerri's spoken so I'm withdrawing. Now, for those that do agree with me and would like this information in your local, here's what I submitted:

Quote:
During the Drill Machine sequence as the Enterprise comes out of its barrel role amidst destruction of the other Federation ships above Vulcan, we cut to an interior Enterprise bridge over the shoulder of Kirk that is looking out through the front viewscreen. In space, R2-D2 of Star Wars fame is floating in the debris.

If you freeze frame the movie at 47:39 you can see the robot towards the bottom left of the viewscreen.

You could say so... but then again this program is "DVD Profiler" not "Movie Profiler"

What we need is a "Trivia" field for this kind of stuff.

Exactly. I don't have a problem with movie trivia in a profile, I just don't want it to clutter up any of the other sections.

However, I'm pretty sure that a trivia section will be a huge can of worms, and there will probably be endless discussions of what sort of trivia is interesting enough to be allowed into the database. But that's a completely different discussion

just want to add that apparently artoo appears in lots of movies that ILM worked on.

Transformers 2

close encounters of the 3rd kind

raiders of the lost ark

and a bonus millenium falcon shot in star trek first contact
