| Posted: | | | | As windows mobile seems to be falling by the wayside, I thought it would be good to see a show of hands (just for fun) for the next platform that DVDPM should be developed on?
I'm personally moving to Android, I'll miss DVDPM, but, however good it is, I just can't bring myself to get another WM device.

| Posted: | | | | I'm quite happy with my jailbroke iPhone 3G and look forward to later this month when I'm eligible for the upgrade pricing on the iPhone 3GS.
I was a longtime WM user. The iPhone cured me. | | | Last edited: by Dr. Killpatient |

| Posted: | | | | Staying with Windows Mobile for now - on 6.5 now, let's see what 7 brings - I might upgrade then.
iPhone is not an option for two reasons: 1) iTunes does not live up to the quality standards I require of software I install on my desktop, 2) Steve Jobs does not decide what programs I run on my phone.
Android might be an option, but then if I want to develop anything myself I can't use C#, and Java/javascript are simply too outdated. Then there is also the fact that I do not trust Google at all (I don't really trust Microsoft either, but they are the company that is most closely monitored - and they can't get away with half the dirty tricks Google and Apple pulls off). | | | Regards Lars |

| Posted: | | | | I have an iPhone 3Gs and a HTC Hero with Androide,
For me there is no comparison, the iPhone is much more ergonomic. Once used to the iPhone scroll list is hard to do without (it's very slow on HTC Hero..) |

| Posted: | | | | For me it's also Windows Mobile. I also don't trust Google and the iPhone is too locked and isn't a very attractive platform to program for (AFAIK: C, SDK only availabe for Mac, Developer Access costs money, ...). |

| Posted: | | | | I clicked on the iPhone but I don't have one and don't particularly need one. But I do have an iTouch and use it a lot - most places that I hang around have wifi access.
I've used the mobile app on my iPAQ for years and like it but the Windows GUI doesn't translate well to the small screen - the iTouch / iPhone GUI is much easier to use ...
I'll buy the iTouch version when it's available. | | | Everything in the world is a second order system, if you're not too fussy. And if it isn't, you are. |
