Just checking: does "2nd Make-Up Artist" qualify for inclusion?

Can't see any reason why not, if i saw it I'd include it

So "2nd" qualifies for inclusion in the database, but "Additional" (see current thread on that subject here) doesn't? I would think that any of the arguments raised in order to ignore "Additional" (like: it's not listed in the crew credits table) would apply to "2nd" as well. At this point, I think it's pretty much impossible to explain to the average user that he should track "2nd", but leave out "Additional". Where would someone, especially the users who haven't read these particular posts, get that subtle disctinction from?

When I see "additional" or "2nd" anything I leave those Crew members out.

Yet another reason we should have Categorised Open Crew credits to put a end to this pointless nonsense about who can and who can't be entered, I'm getting chuffing sick of it

I have Cindy Williams in "No Reservations" and I'll check the credit at the weekend, even if it won't change the common name.

I'm trying to establish the common name for make-up artist Cindy (J.)/(Jane) Williams. If we just take the CLT numbers at face value, then "Cindy Williams" is clearly the winner, but things aren't that black and white: there's also an actress named Cindy Williams (from 'American Graffiti, for instance, here's her IMDb-page for quick reference). So when you look up the numbers of "Cindy Williams", most of those credits are actually for the actress, not the make-up artist. Hence the need for this common name-finding thread: it may still turn out to be "Cindy Williams" (in which case we'll need birth years), but we can't tell that from the CLT numbers alone. I'll start with a few sources that confirm that these name variants indeed refer to the same make-up artist:

- http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0930287/

Common name CINDY WILLIAMS (15 titles):
- 13 Going on 30 (confirmed by T!M & Addicted2DVD)
- America's Sweethearts (confirmed by T!M & SpaceFreakMicha)
- Chicago (confirmed by T!M)
- Drillbit Taylor (confirmed by samuelrichardscott)
- G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra (confirmed by CubbyUps)
- Gun Shy (confirmed by T!M)
- Hancock (confirmed by CubbyUps)
- Hot Shots (confirmed by T!M & SpaceFreakMicha)
- The Jungle Book (confirmed by huskersports)
- Intolerable Cruelty (confirmed by T!M)
- Material Girls (confirmed by samuelrichardscott)
- Me, Myself & Irene (confirmed by samuelrichardscott)
- No Reservations (confirmed by VirusPil)
- Smokin' Aces (confirmed by CubbyUps)
- What's Eating Gilbert Grape? (confirmed by Kluge)

CINDY JANE WILLIAMS (9 titles):
- Forces of Nature (confirmed by T!M)
- Grosse Pointe Blank (confirmed by T!M)
- The Haunting (confirmed by CubbyUps)
- Ocean's Twelve (confirmed by T!M & SpaceFreakMicha)
- Shallow Hal (confirmed by T!M)
- Spawn (confirmed by CubbyUps & Speedy666)
- The Terminal (confirmed by T!M)
- There's Something About Mary (confirmed by T!M)
- What Dreams May Come (confirmed by T!M)

CINDY J. WILLIAMS (1 title):
- Beautiful Girls (confirmed by T!M)

And then there's a confirmed "2nd Make-Up Artist" credit, but do we include that one?:
- Airborne (confirmed as Cindy Williams by SpaceFreakMicha)

Can anyone confirm any other credits for this make-up artist that we might have missed?
My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it!
