They should definitely be counted as trailers.  After all, we can't have everyone in agreement, can we???

Just kidding, BD-Live-only content should only result in the BD-Live checkbox.

Talk about taking a quote out of context.

No brains for you!
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

How do you know what is part of BD live and what is not?

If you've got a BD-Live enabled player make sure it's not connected & look at the available options. Then connect it & see what's then available.

If it has already downloaded and stored the content, it may still be available after you disconnect...

Probably depends on the player.

You are still describing DB Live Content, not Disc Content, Jm. Whether it can be addressed Online or Off is still content related to BD Live

I know that. I was replying to FtR about his method to determine if the content was BD-Live or not.

Yep.  If the trailers are only available via BD-Live, they won't be there without the internet connection.

Only if I profile the disk before I watch it, once BD live content is downloaded it remans available until it is overwritten. I usually use my PC drive to check things these days which is also out. Most BD live stuff is available under a BD live menu so that part is easy. But some stuff has nothing to indicate that it is. In the case of trailers it's not strictly true to say they are nothing to do with the disk, the disk wants to play trailers, if the BD player complies with the BD profile 2.0 standard then it will play trailers.
