I would like to sort by genre and print a report sorted by genre.  I would also like a layout featuring genre.

Any help?

Explained to you in another thread.

You can print every report as sorted, filtered or flagged. You can find many different reports to download here. (And if you want you can edit a report, too)

Sorry, don't know what you want exactly. (Genres are shown in the general information window)

In a previous version of the software, there was an option to sort your owned/all lists by genre.  The genre was picked up by the IMDB tags about the movie.  I wish Invelos would bring it back, as I used to use it all of the time.

I don't believe this software has ever used IMDb tags for anything, much less genre sorting.  Genres, like every other piece of data, has always been entered by the user.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.
