The question i have is, what softwares do i need to run DVD Profiler on Mac?? I recently purchased a new MacBook Pro and i would like to do this on there. I am seeing the MacOSX-Parallels6??? VM (Virtual Machine)??? if anyone can point me to the right direction i would greatly appreciated since i need this to work in order for me to scan my entire collection and sync it with the laptop. I already lost the collection after updating iphone to new ios and i do not want to spend so much time scanning to lose it again. Thanks

Papiriqui, most methods to run DVDP on a Mac require you to install Windows. Either via BootCamp which is part of Mac OS X but requires rebooting your MacBook to switch between OS X and Windows or via a virtual machine. For the latter you can buy Parallels Desktop or VM Ware Fusion or you can download VirtualBox for free. Parallels and Fusion are considered to be more user friendly. You could also try Crossover. That program lets you run Windows programs without actually installing Windows, but it doesn't officially support DVDP. There is a free trial version available.

I changed the setting from shared to bridge and now i got both mac osx and windowns on the same ip one is 192.168.1.X and the other the same thing but the last number differs, is that a problem??? If so what can i do to get this thing solved since is driving me crazy. Thanks

Using VMWare (Parallels has something similar).

In the settings of the VM (not Windows), change your network settings from NAT to bridged.  You are currently translating your "physical" local IP to another IP, and double NATing.  Let the VM bridge to the normal network and get a normal IP for the VM from your router.  You will then be able to have it connect with no problem.

This will require a reboot of the VM, or at least a disable/re-enable of the network card.
