when designing an HTML window, I know how to pull all the crew in a category, and can limit the number.

The question I have;

How do you pull a subset from within a Category?

for example;

I want to pull the "Production Designer" from the "Art" Category, without pulling the "Costume Designer", which may come before it.

Please help.....

Maybe a little more specifics.

Within an HTML window, I would like to retrieve

Crew-Direction-Director
Crew-Art-Production Designer
Crew-Writing-omb,ocb, story by,  screenwriter (nothing in other)

With there associated roles and display

Director (or custom role)  Name
Director of Photography Name
Production Designer name
Writing credits

Nothing else

How would I go about doing this????

I think you will have to use the header vars and retrieve the crew you need yourself.
Include in your header section "<DP NAME="HEADER_VARS" Language="JavaScript"  IncludeCrew="True">

And then you have the crew as an array DP_CrewEntries and can get the single crew members via javascript.
Each crew entry has the info about category, role and name.
I don't know how much experience you have with javascript and with the header vars, so I don't know how much I would have to go into details.

Thanks,  I was hoping that it would be simpler.

You would have to go into more detail than you have space here.  I am really just starting to play with javascript (not much spare time).

Let me do some reading and playing, then if I have specific questions, I will ask.
