The update will definitely be out on Monday, the [REDACTED] of [REDACTED], 2012, at 12:14 PM CST.

Oh fine, this limits it to 1/7 of the year.
And since 7 of the possible 52 days already have passed this leaves only 45 days to wait for.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Yeah, I use a custom media type to help myself out until the update comes. It looks like this and allows me to filter on only BD3D profiles:

In case you want it, here's the logo I use for that custom media type:

DVD collection

Making a custom media type is a great thing. I did it also, thanks for the logo. It works perfect on the desktop PC. Unfortunately you can't search for media types in the iPhone and iPad app to list all 3D films I own.

No, only 9 fix filters like Collection Number, Country of Origin, Last Watched, Locality, Production Year, Purchase Date, Release Date, Run time and Title or common Starts With or Contains, that is all.

I also created a 3D Logo, a custom media type and a Blu-ray 3D tag and yes you can search tags.

Fritz

I think you can search on media type with the iPhone but only for your owned profiles by going to Browse > Media Types > Blu-ray 3D (or any other name you gave your custom media type)

For your Wish list or Ordered list, I don't think it's possible, unfortunately.

The logo also looks good on iPhone, although it's a little bit deformed:

Blu-ray collection
DVD collection
My Games
My Trophies

Taro, thanks. I never used the Browse, I clicked on it, but all was empty. Now I see you tap to Browse and get a lot of choices. It works perfekt with my 3D media now, that is really great.

Thanks and have a nice weekend,

Fritz

In 3.8, the 3D indicator will be view-able from the mini-preview in the Add DVD window, and of course from the full preview.

Sorry for a stupid question, but where is that 3D indicator in the mini-preview? (Maybe I'm just blind.)

It's neither in Mini Preview nor Preview. I can only assume that Ken Cole removed the feature for 3.8.1.
