What product do you use to clean your screens?  Is there a specific manufacturer that's better than others?  Or, is it cheaper to use a home-made kit?

I've always thought the right cloth and fluid would be good.  But, I'm not sure what to use.

For the screen I use tableware detergent and warm water (because the mixture has the advantage of leaving no ugly stripes, other than the normal glass-cleaners), moisten a soft sponge and dry the surface with a soft cotton cloth.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I use a soft, usually dry, microfiber cloth to get rid of dust and fingerprints. I never use detergents, only water if needed.

Yup.  I remember that horror story.  Good reason not to have kids.
