It's showing up on my bookmark but not on my URL. FF 14.0.01 - it's not just Invelos, no favicon is showing up on any site.

It does show up on the URL for FF 10.0.5 ESR

Hmm maybe they would be better off using the more common link rel="icon" then as it's obviously not working everywhere, or both if they want to worry about the 15% of IE users.

I am not sure what you are getting at here.  Are you saying that only 15% of people are using IE?  I have looked at several sites and, with the exception of NetMarketShare.com which lists IE at 53.9%, IE and Chrome are tied at around 33%, Firefox at around 25%, Safari at around 7% and Opera at around 2%.

That being said, I just did a quick google search and it seems FF 14.0.1 has changed the way it handles favicons so maybe it isn't the code but the browser?
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.

We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Well then, it's most probably Firefox's fault. I can live without a favicon anyway. As to stats, I guess that depends on who's your reading and who to believe (they are most probably all wrong anyway).

Hrm - I might have to rethink my Firefox / Chrome decision. Firefox has been pretty steady percentage wise but is slowly dropping. Chrome has done nothing but climb and climb fast and most of IE's loss is do to Chrome.

Opera shows it.

Also Opera shows the Favicon-image (PNG or GIF if memory serves) as a picture on the short-dial! Unfortunately very few sites use this possibility.
