It appears the ability to block users has disappeared... unless I am missing it.

Can someone please post step by step instructions on how to block users?

edit - I figured it out - also, it would be nice if users could delete their own posts within at least five minutes, or if they make a thread that gets no replies, so embarassing clutter like this thread does not get created.

Some people don't like it when they look silly because they talk non-sense

I couldn't care less to be on a block list, anyway I find that quite childish to block someone for nothing that's why I block no one on the forum (PM is a different matter).

But I guess I'm one of many on that one

Wow, I wonder what I must have said or done back in June of 2010 to earn that blocked status. <shrug>

The block is mutual, you have blocked Jimmy S. Twice, to play it safe.

Actually, those are users that have blocked him from sending them PMs.  If he had blocked you, from what I have tested, there would be an 'Unblock' option in the Action column.

Nothing. I'm blocked by you and I have no clue why as we have never interacted together in a discussion.

No it's forum block, I don't think PM block are shown and I have never PM Mike as I usually send PM to people I know (unless it is to point something on a contribution and in those case I'm polite and use screencapture).

Exactly, as I said I don't block people on the forum. I use that only to stop PM and only for short period.

Actually, it is the other way around.  You don't see forum blocks...when people block you...but you do see PM blocks because they are automatically mutual.  If you notice in the screencap, under the visible blocks, it says:

"Forum posts by the below users will not be visible to you while you are logged into the Invelos site.
Forum blocks are not automatically mutual, and blocked users are not provided a list of users who have elected to block them."

Just test it and you are right... the PM block is at the top (and visible for the blocked person) and the forum block is at the bottom (and invisible for the blocked person, unless he knows it as I do in that case).

Well, seeing as how I have no clue why you would be blocked (and it doesn't sound like you know why either), I've cleared those from my end.

Bizarre

Might have been some event in the distant past and Jimmy using a different Alias then.

But obviously it wasn't that important at all, otherwise you would have remembered whom you blocked, and why.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

These are the bbbbb blockers:

bmw-850-csi blocked me twice, to play it safe. The blocks are completely useless, no need to say that I never contacted them.

Personally, I prefer to use the Fiends List.
