Hi Ken,

first of all, thank you for finally having an android app and letting us beta test it.

I just tried syncing my database for the first time, and it just stopped while doing it. I just figured it out after seeing that my Desktop Profiler said 0 connected.

Currently there isn't really a way to see if the sync is still doing anything if you have a huge collection, because the progress bar only moves every now and then. So for the REQUEST: More Information on screen would be nice, like the name of the profile that is about to be synced. This would let users see that something is still happening.

Ken,

I'm sync'ing my now via wi-fi on my home network.  I'm also seeing 1 connected but the status bar is moving very slowing.

It would be nice to see what is being sync'd, just for peace of mind.  Oh, wait a minute just saw the status bar move.  LOL

Thanks again and I'm looking forward to putting the app thur the ringer.

We're still working on data performance, but I fear that in general it may be somewhat slower than iOS during sync.  This should only really matter during the first sync or after some sort of global data change (like reassigning all collection numbers).  We'll see what we can do to make it more obvious that progress is being made.

I tried syncing twice. It happend once during the profile sync and once during the image sync.

Also: After pressing cancel on this screen i couldn't get the app to update again. I needed to close it and start it again.

Mine took a couple of goes to get it all done, in total about 2 hours across a reasonably speedy Wi-Fi and around 2600 titles. That's acceptable to me it seemed to stall when receiving a message or answering a call.  Overall the app has a good look and feel so far.

I'm getting this as well; mine keeps hanging and on occasions will stop and disconnet from my PC
