Hello all,

I'm right on the verge of purchasing DVD Profiler, until today when an error struck.  I have in the region of 570 DVDs in my list, and when I tried to amend some of the "Sort by" names today (trying to get the Batman movies to appear in the correct order) the list on the left now seems to be out of sync with the database in a couple of cases.

For instance, if I click on "Batman", then the correct information appears on the right side of the screen (i.e. cover images, general info etc.), and if I double click it I get the pop up window for the correct film.  However, if I click on "Dark Knight" the info on the right doesn't change from the previous film, and if I double click I get the pop up window from the previous film.  This means that there are actually two films (that I have found so far) that I am now unable to select to make any amendments to.

Has anyone had this issue before, and do you know if there is anything I can do about it?

I suspect I can use a backup copy to see if that has become corrupted, but I don't really want to do this as I have just made a bunch of amendments and additions that I don't want to have to do again!!!

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello all...

Please ignore the above post.  I've now fixed it by running the "repair database" utility.

Wish I'd spotted that before I posted to the forum!!

Thanks,

Alex
