Hi, I had / have my database on my iphone, over 300 movies, I had to re-download and install dvd profiler for windows, and when I have synced my database I now only have 29 movies in each device! I did rename the database before I "synced" it, but have lost a whole stack of movies.

Does anyone know if the old database will still be somewhere in my iphone or not? Otherwise I am going to have to redo the whole lot again!

Don't know about the iPhone,
but your collection is still there

From DVDProfiler-PC:
Menu: Online -> DVDProfiler Online..." in the now opening window chose the option "Download"
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

In Profiler on your iPhone, tap Databases near the middle at the bottom of the screen. The new page has headings "Update Database" and then "Databases" with one or more entries below it with one of them selected with a check mark.

If there is only one entry, then yes, you overwrote your only copy. (The same is true for the PC database, although there is very slim chance the situation could be different there.)

If they are gone, Lewis' instructions are your only recourse.
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

He who MUST get the last word in on a pointless, endless argument doesn't win. It makes him the bigger jerk.
