I bought the DVD Profiler app for IOS & scanned DVDs and BluRays onto my iPad. I also have burned DVDs and VHS tapes which I would like to add to the database, but noticed that the only Media types were DVDs & BluRays. Can I customize the Media to show VHS and burned DVDs? I checked & couldn't find anywhere to be able to customize the Media type. Thanks for any help.

I do not know what Ios is, or Vhs tape. But there are DVD Profiler Ios forums, maybe they can help.

We have no Vhs forums, though.

Yes indeed, you can change "Media Types":

Just open any profile, and on the "General Information" screen, choose the Disc/Pencil icon where it says "Media Types" and you can add and customize whatever you want.

You can also additionally add "Custom Categories" to the program, and add things like VHS, DVD-R's, etc. to their own seperate folders in your collection list. Just right click your mouse where you see "Owned | Ordered | Wishlist" in the program, choose "Other" and then "Edit Collection Categories..." and you can then categorize basically anything you want.

I don't have the desktop version, only the app on my iPad so not sure if I can access Gen Info - Disc/Pencil etc. When I open "Browse" & "Media Types," the only Media are DVDs & Blu Rays & don't see anywhere that I can customize it.

Yeah, it might be only available on the desktop version. I'm not really familiar with the IOS version as far as customization goes. Another user who does might be able to help you out, if it's possible on there.
