Not able to sync between the 2 devices - keep getting the following message " Unable to connect. Please ensure that DVD Profiler is running and that sharing is active".

"Retry the connection".

I have followed all steps on the IOS setup for syncing between pc and device, nothing seems to work.
Any help would be most grateful.

On your iOS device, open your browser and visit the address shown on the bottom bar of DVD Profiler.  For example, using http://_IP_ADDRESS:_PORT.

So, if you see "Shared on 'CompName' (192.168.1.12), port 32847, then enter http://192.168.1.12:32847

If the connection is open, that will show a success message. If it is being blocked, you will see connection failure.  In that case, it is either a software firewall blocking the connection, or a setting on your router such as guest network, which is segregating your network.

Many thanks for your help, I worked out what the issue was, something on my new pc - had some "fine tuning " to work out why it was not syncing, but it is now.
