| Posted: | | | | Not able to sync between the 2 devices - keep getting the following message " Unable to connect. Please ensure that DVD Profiler is running and that sharing is active".
"Retry the connection".
I have followed all steps on the IOS setup for syncing between pc and device, nothing seems to work. Any help would be most grateful. |

So, if you see "Shared on 'CompName' (192.168.1.12), port 32847, then enter http://192.168.1.12:32847
If the connection is open, that will show a success message. If it is being blocked, you will see connection failure. In that case, it is either a software firewall blocking the connection, or a setting on your router such as guest network, which is segregating your network. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Many thanks for your help, I worked out what the issue was, something on my new pc - had some "fine tuning " to work out why it was not syncing, but it is now. |
