I've noticed when filtering the cast and crew on the profile screen, over time, it can take a while to filter the list.  A database repair gives the appearance of some improved performance for a short period of time.  All third-party plug-ins are disabled.  My main desktop isn't a new computer and is older, but are these repair times atypical?

The CreditsAssign took nearly 22 minutes and the ActorAssgn took another 13 minutes.

Those are fairly reproducible numbers: 5-6 minutes for CreditsAssign, 3-4 minutes for ActorAssign. How often do you repair? (I do a repair daily, as well as a daily backup).

I don't repair frequently as I'm not using it daily, but I think the last repair was about a month ago.  Either way, I wouldn't expect to have to repair that frequently.  The CPU usage during the repair was normally around 2-5% with a peak up to 20%, but that wasn't the only program that was open.

The time it takes to filter the cast/crew list before you can type another character is horrendous too.  The easiest way for me to enter cast/crew is to type out the names in notepad and then paste the names into the lookup field.
