Just wondering if anyone else creates manual profiles for things that haven't been announced/released yet on disc or may never be?

Like if you have a favorite actor and you enter profiles for films that won't even be released in the theaters for a year or so.
Or some VHS title that likely won't ever be release on disc.

I've even gone as far as starting to enter profiles named after cast and entering everything that they've done in that one profile using dividers.
Sort of like creating their own filmography profile.

I create manual profiles of my few remaining VHS tapes, of my TV recordings I put on my Plex server, and many entries in my Wish List.

you can create anything you want.. ( just can't or don't upload to contributions . .You can upload to your own library for storage..

I have done this not only for films or series not available  but also have transferred all my vhs home movies of the kids / home /family videos  growing up along with overview and chapter headings breaking the 120 minutes video down to 5 or 10 minutes chapters.. making it easier to find  and along with cover  art for front and back of each year.

this information kept (in my case)  the profiler IOS ap  makes it easy to whip out the smart phone and quickly locate the dvd in question and get it in to the tray within a few minutes to cue up to the chapter and verse  and watch,  when the kids come over for dinner and a  movie night-  we can have a few laughs too ,, as not everyone has their VHS machines any more- so the memory's burnt to DVD ( or even cloud base services is good to have/own  )  but the bottom line is- if your looking for that 8th birthday party Invelos  profiler makes it that much easier to find/ locate and distribute .

Yes, I use manual profiles for my converted VHS and for any other material not suitable with DVD-Profiler...

I also use manual profiles to track headshots.
Complete list of Common Names  •  A good point for starting with Headshots (and v11.1)

I occasionally create a manual profile for something that I hope will get released or for something that has been announced but no date, let alone a UPC, yet. That good thing is, the Tracker function within "Add UPC" will automatically show that release as available once it's entered into the system.

I have a ton of stuff who aren't on DVD profiled in my database since I enter everything I have on DVD-R... so not manual per se but by disc id.
