I realize after a number of years now being a member of Invelos  ( myself 16 years)  there are members that seem to 'drop off the boards'  maybe due to sickness , health , or a complete removal of their DVD hobby..

I know that members such as Winston,, or Skipnet50, have had major health issues and are no longer with us ,

but figured out today I have not seen M.Cellophane  and even possibly others ..

It would be nice if anyone within  the forum group here  knows of others who have/ Had  health issues to drop a line or two in Discussions  so we could send notes to family ..

Interesting thread and something I've thought about from time to time. BTW, re:M.Cellophane, have you tried PM'ing? If the e-mail address they use is still active, they will get a notice and might log on to check.

m.cellophane has not logged in in more than 250 days.

I looked through my friends list and it seems that about 30% of those guys have not logged in for at least a year, some for several years already.

While checking, I noticed that Ken logged in yesterday...

Hi All!

It's really cool to see folks thinking about me. I started using a Mac in 2008 and eventually switched to a Mac app. It's not the same as DVD Profiler. Good in some ways and not good in others. I miss my friends here at DVD Profiler.

I am well! I "retired" in 2014 and moved to the country. Then I started working with a community health center and I've been CEO for a year so far. Busy af!    I'm enjoying it.

I'm still around; guess I've just not had much to say recently.  Have had a few 'real life' things to deal with.

Have recently made the jump to 4K and Dolby Atmos, which I imagine is what the Government had in mind when it started to allow people of a 'certain age' in the UK to cash in some of their pension early.  I don't like to boast, but I'm now the proud owner of a massive collection of 15 UHD films!
Do you ever find yourself striving for perfection with an almost worthless attempt at it?  Guttermouth "Lemon Water".  Also, I include in my Profiler database VHS tapes, audio DVDs, audio books (digital, cassette and CD), video games (digital, DVD and CD) and 'enhanced' CDs with video tracks on them, as well as films and TV I've bought digitally.  So I'm an anarchist, deal with it.  Just be thankful I don't include most of my records and CDs etc in it too; don't think I haven't been tempted...

So far as I can tell it's been a year since Ken commented in the forums. (I can only see the main Forums and the Beta forum so it is possible the Ken has actually commented within the Rules or Plugin Developers forums.)
