Hi

I have a small question
The side effect of importing the headshot DB is to explode the size and the time for the backup

I know somewhere in the application it exist a functionality to remove unused cast but I can't recall where it's hidden in the menu if it still exist
Can you help me to figure out?

Thanks
Ded

Options>Utilities>Repair Profile Database=Program will close and Repair program will start.
On that window select the following.
Custom>Select Remove Unused> Select what you want to be removed.
Note: If you want to keep the people with headshots, even if they are unused Select the Preserve cast/crew with images option.
Click Repair.

I can't find the right place to ask this. If this isn't it, please let me know.

But how big do the headshots need to be? Is there an optimum size?

Does Profiler shrink them down?

I would like to use a standard size in my database because, at the moment, they seem to vary in size quite a bit. This is probably where I have copy/pasted them from various sources.

Thanks,
Neil

I think the optimum size for DVD Profiler is 300x400. From that size it's not possible to stretch the image when you update or restore the headshots. I don't know for sure, but I don't think the images are automatically resized to that size by the program.
