Well, then I'm out of ideas. Sorry!

Unless you want to get really brutal and reinstall Windows and everything else.

Well we can't be sad about that! I'm sure you rebooted and tried again just to be sure whether your problem didn't magically go away. Microsoft doesn't always disclose what it is doing internally. But in any case, it is a comfort to know you are moving forward on an undamaged OS (at least from a MS perspective).

Now, if you didn't already, go ahead and replace that Font. You have been told more than once.

Is it possible that it is a hardware problem?

Hardware error, what do you mean?
The notebook is 100% running and with all software and hardware upgrades

I have the DVD Profiler installed on two computers, on no problem, on the other I always have problems.
Together a print screen of each.
Is it my impression, or is the font different?
