Error uploading collection...

I can't seem to upload my collection.  Whenever I try, I get "Error uploading collection. Please try again later."

This error isn't temporary... it's been happening for weeks.

It happens as soon as the phone gets to the "uploading collection" bar.

Is there any other way to backup my library? I considered deleting the app and reinstalling it, but this is my primary iOS device. I do all of my updates on it, and then update the other devices from it's backup to avoid any confusion.

I thought it would have been a bigger bug for people and an update would fix it, but it's been some time now.

Thanks.

No!  What the hell is wrong with this company???  Not even a reply?  Complete ignorance of the problem?  This is pathetic, I even tried to post in another message about this, and they are completely ignoring this topic and issue!

I’ve showed so many people this product, supported it for years, and believed in it and the company, but it has been WEEKS with not even a response from them.

This incompetence, ignorance, and offensive failure must be dealt with!

- a VERY angry and disappointed FORMER supporter!!!

Wake up and respond!!!

Once again.  Another day of no response. Too bad.  They could be supporting formerly faithful customers.

Hi,

This happens no matter what internet connection I have.  I could be on cellular or my local router or wifi anywhere else.

I've also reset my network settings on my phone, and actually have performed a full reinstall and restoration from a backup.

Thanks.  Please advise.

So trying to get my library updated, I deleted my online library, installed my PC copy of DVD Profiler.  I then made a network connection to the PC, and then... it ONLY transferred the changes to my library instead of the whole library, and then... DELETED THE REST OF MY DISCS!

Grrr... so for the third time, I've restored my iPhone from a backup with my whole collection.  But I have no idea why syncing with the PC would ONLY transfer the changes from my previously successful uploaded library, so my collection of over 2500 discs, was reduced down to 27 discs.

What is going on?

HELP! (Useless of course since you aren't answering anyway.)

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

Something changed, and I believe it's on the server side.

Today, on a whim, I tried to sync with the online library, and it did, and my full collection from my iPhone is now uploaded.

I checked, and there has been no update to the app, and no update to the version of iOS I use since the last time I tried and it failed.

So we may have no official support here, but the magic coders came in sometime and fixed whatever was causing my problem... I HOPE.

Does anyone know what changed?  Has the server been going through updates since June???

Happy to have it resolved... so far.!  Making a PC version backup now, and updating my collection.

I was wrong.

The problem is still here...

But at least I have a almost complete library on the PC version.

I started to have failed uploads again.

So what I just did was do a complete database repair, cleared my online library, uploaded my library to the online library... I'd assume this should give me a clean and intact library online.

Then I deleted my iOS copy of the app.  Deleted it so it would also delete the database and all data.  Now I'm doing to restore it from the online library and try to add newer titles that are missing from my database and see if I can upload that updated database back to the online version.  If that doesn't work, I think I'm completely done and will look for alternatives.

Thanks friends for trying to help.  Too bad the company doesn't care about us or the product.

This product is dead, the company is dead, the support is dead, and it’s time to move on from this.

Even the main page still reads summer sale.

So there is no further working product, and selling it now is a crime.

Too bad because I loved the product.

Sad.
