I'm planning to update the profile for Kino's Hercules in the Haunted World (738329-239169) but I'm not quite sure how to do it.
Here's the problem:

This is a two disc edition. The first disc contains the US version entitled Hercules in the Haunted World.

The second disc - labeled "Hercules in the Center of the Earth" - contains as its main film the European release version, onscreen title Vampire Gegen Herakles. As an extra, this disc has the UK release version entitled Hercules in the Center of the Earth.

Since the front cover only mentions Hercules in the Haunted World, I assume that this cannot be considered a box set. My best idea is that this becomes a parent-child-grandchild profile, i.e.
Hercules in the Haunted World
- Vampire Gegen Herakles
- - Hercules in the Center of the Earth

What say you?

To me, it sounds like 1 film with 3 versions. I would do what you said:

Hercules in the Haunted World
- Vampire Gegen Herakles
- - Hercules in the Center of the Earth

Or you could do both as children:

Hercules in the Haunted World
- Vampire Gegen Herakles
- Hercules in the Center of the Earth

Are these actually different movies? Or just different cuts of the same movie?

Wasn't there a big discussion with the Blade Runner set on how to deal with a box that contains the same movie over and over again in different cuts?

They are different cuts with different features. The European cut on disc 2 has the Tim Lucas commentary, for example.

After reading the rules for Alternate Versions, I see that we cannot use it for different cuts of the same film. So that rules out Hercules in the Center of the Earth.

But I can't find anything about a different cut as a bonus film on a separate disc. Is it allowed?

Are any of the credits different for the different cuts?  (Maybe actors had scenes deleted in one version and not another.)  If so, I'd say child profiles all the way, but if not then I'd say don't bother.

Just a suggestion, though; the rules don't seem to cover this one.
