You could:
1. create a tag "loaned to..."
2. flag all the movies you want to loan
3. click Collection|Flagged|Set Tags... and choose the tag you created.

You then can do a find Ctrl-F choose the Tags tab and click on the tag you created and that's what will show. Don't forget to "Clear All Filters" when you are done.

Are you willing to use XML import? BulkEdit will "almost" do that now if you want to know about it. I will be cleaning it up next upgrade, but the cleanup can also be done manually if you want to try it (with all the normal cautions about backing up, etc.).

To give you a hint, the process would be:
- Export the 20 DVDs to XML
- Add a loan event
- Import the XML using BulkEdit

The messy part is that I forgot to set the due date properly, which I will fix on next update. So today, you have to go into Tools>Users and change the loan due dates manually.

Any concerns about the integrity of the online metadata on import can be solved by doing an Invelos refresh if you want to be sure.

Add child tag
Add person's name in tag name

Then you flag and set the tag

Then you can use the Filters -> Tags tab to filter for them

You can't delete a tag if any profile has that tag checked. Just flag all profiles (Ctrl-A), select Collection/Flagged/Set Tags..., uncheck "Joana" and click OK. Then you can delete the tag.

I was going to suggest (what else is new) BulkEdit, so I tried it, and it didn't work!!!

Why is it my to do list never gets shorter?
