| | Posted: | | | | I think the Norwegian ratings and explanations should be changed. What is in the program now is the cinema ratings; example: "7 år - barn ned til 4 år i følgje med føresette" .And that is wrong. The correct ratings for DVD and Blu-Ray is different and much simpler. The correct ratings should be: (Rating - Explanation text) A - Tillatt for alle (Note: "Tillatt", NOT: "Tillaten" as it is now.) 7 år - Aldersgrense 7 år 11 år - Aldersgrense 11 år 15 år - Aldersgrense 15 år 18 år - Aldersgrense 18 år Source: http://www.medietilsynet.no/no/Video/Aldersmerking/(The ratings are in orange on the right side.) So I have now sent a support ticket.
But please continue posting if you agree with us.

They also want me to "make a post clarifying that the existing ratings will be removed and replaced with the media ratings." So here it is:
If you agree with me the existing ratings will be removed and replaced with the media ratings.
The new media ratings will look like this:
A (Tillatt for alle)
7 år (Aldersgrense 7 år)
11 år (Aldersgrense 11 år)
15 år (Aldersgrense 15 år)
18 år (Aldersgrense 18 år)

Sorry if my posting made confusion, I simply wanted to point out the ratings needed to be corrected, regardless of choice, cinema/media. I strongly support the use of the proposed "media ratings". I don't want the "cinema rating" (regardless of local language variant). I agree with force "...the existing ratings ...(to)... be removed and replaced with the media ratings."
