The stage musical sensation magically and hauntingly comes to the screen in director Joel Schumacher's lavish production, sweeping audiences aloft to new cinematic heights of sight-and-sound grandeur. Gerard Butler (the Phantom), Emmy Rossum (winner of the National Board of Review Breakthrough Performance and Critics Choice Best Young Actress Awards as Christine) and Patrick Wilson (as Raoul) play the fateful love triangle that unfurls in splendor, suspense - and in the music of the night.

Insert the second disc of the DVD set and highlight the 'Additional Scenes' menu entry. Then, press the 'Down' arrow key on your remote control and an icon will appear on the screen. Press the 'Enter' key now and you’ll see a cast & crew singalong of the song 'The Phantom of the Opera.'
Back on the DVD’s Main Menu, select the menu entry for 'The Movie' to get to the list of extras relating to the movie. Now use the directional buttons on your remote control to highlight a small square in the bottom left corner of the screen. Press 'enter' now and you will be treated to the deleted 'No One Would Listen,' sung by Gerard Butler.
On the same screen you can highlight a square in the upper left corner, which will then give you access to some of Emmy’s screentest footage.
Now go back to the Main Menu on this second disc and underneath the menu entry 'The Show' another small square can be highlighted using the directional keys on your remote control. Press 'Enter' now and you will see the movie's theatrical trailer.
