1. Pilot
Nick Burkhardt, a promising Portland homicide detective, told nobody he gets visions of people 'transforming' into monsters when he looks at them. While investigating the murder and disappearance of two girls, he realizes it's a Grimm family gift, which passes from his aunt Marie Kessler when she is dying from cancer. She also gives him a mysterious key. Nick becomes her attacker's next target, but barely and wisely discretely uses his gift to track down the postman, who turns out a descendant of werewolf line, yet helps him find the violent monster.
2. Bears Will Be Bears
A case of breaking and entering introduces Nick and Hank to a mysterious family whose cultural background blurs the line of right and wrong. Meanwhile, Nick tasks Monroe with safeguarding Aunt Marie.
3. BeeWare
During a flash-mob on a bus, a lawyer is killed with a stunning overdose of bee venom, but it fits no geographical origin. Monroe and the Grim records help Nick work out it must be the work of a feral bee queen, the sworn enemy of Hexebiests like Adalind. Trailing an professor-beekeeper and the other twelve attendants of a convention, Nick and his partner Hank find them congregating and get attacked by an unnatural bee swarm.
4. Lonelyhearts
Nick discovers that several disappeared women were raped, a few also killed, after a stay in Billy Capra's romantic, honeymoon-oriented hotel. After a Grimm-flash shows him Bill as a goat, Nick enlists Eddie Monroe to help him identify the feral type, which uses irresistible seduction pheromones, and to prepare a hotel intrusion to save the latest victims. Meanwhile captain Sean Renard gives an uninvited French reaper a terrible welcome.
5. Danse Macabre
Nick investigates the death of popular Seattle private prep school music teacher, who was seemingly bitten to death by rats in his car. The popular crowd suggest the only feasible suspect is recently suspended outsider Roddy Geiger, a gifted violinist but son of ruffian junk yard keeper Ephram. Near the fatal car are found cages used by Roddy to keep his pet rodents. As Nick recognizes the knave as feral rat, Monroe tries to give 'fatgerly' guidance. However when his father is falsely arrested and abused in jail, the boy snaps and sets a trap for the rich kids who constantly abuse and sometimes bully him. In his anonymous feline DJ mask, he lures them to an underground rave, where his biting army is ready for the kill. |
