BONUS RECAP: YEAR ONE

1. CITY OF HEROES
Found by John Diggle and Felicity Smoak, Oliver Queen comes home to find Starling City in dire shape and his mother facing trial for her part in the Undertaking. A hostile takeover of Queen Consolidated is imminent and Roy Harper tries to fill the void left by The Arrow's absence.
2. IDENTITY
Roy unsuccessfully tries to stop a hijacking of medical supplies for the Glades and is arrested, leading to a falling out with Thea Queen. Oliver investigates – and tangles with China White (Kelly Hu) and her new partner Ben Turner (Michael Jai White), AKA the Bronze Tiger.
3. BROKEN DOLLS
Barton Mathis, whom Quentin Lance put away years ago, has busted out of jail and is back to murdering women. A scheme with Felicity as bait goes awry, and Mathis kidnaps Laurel in retaliation. Moira's trial begins – and the DA is seeking the death penalty.
4. CRUCIBLE
A ganglord called "The Mayor" runs illegal guns into the Glades, so Oliver sponsors a "Cash for Guns" event as a countermeasure. The Mayor's gang crashes the event and seriously injures Sin, which enrages The Canary – AKA Sara Lance – to seek revenge.
5. LEAGUE OF ASSASSINS
After a League of Assassins operative attacks her and Oliver, The Canary confesses her connection to the evildoers. Defendant Moira can plead guilty and avoid the death penalty or risk a trial. Oliver is dismayed when Laurel joins the prosecution team. |
