Kate & Leopold
Leopold, ein viktorianischer Gentleman, gerät in das heutige New York. Dort trifft er auf den Schaupieler Charlie. Der hält ihn für einen Kollegen, der eine Rolle probt. Für Charlies Schwester Kate ist er dagegen ein aufgeblasener Exzentriker. Leopold umwirbt sie trotzdem sehr galant.

Ein Kidnapper begräbt sein Opfer lebendig - mit Luft für 24 Stunden. Bei der Geldübergabe wird er verhaftet. Für die Polizistin Madeline beginnt ein Nervenkrieg, denn sie muß dem Verbrecher rechtzeitig den Aufenthaltsort der Entführten entlocken. |
