Well if we are going to have the 'Grindhouse Presents' bit from the cover, then we should have the FULL title from cover.

Full Edition from cover too, but had to abbreviate 'Edition' to make it fit.

According to the film's opening credits the title is Death Proof. My understanding of the rules is that the title should come from the film's credits.

Grindhouse Presents is not part of the title. It's a collection moniker if anything, though there is no room for it in the Edition field.

Full Edition from the cover, but had to abbreviate 'Edition' to make it fit.

Changing title to Death Proof per new rules. New rules state:

"Use the title from the front cover."

"Do not include quotes if they surround the entire title."

"Include possessives if the front cover includes them, and if they are verifiably part of the title. If quotes surround the title in the copyright section, check whether the poessessive is within the quotes. In the absence of quotes to verify, check the font size used for the title on the front cover. Generally, possessives which use a significantly smaller font are not part of the title."

The title is Death Proof per opening credits.
The title is Death Proof per credits on the back of the dvd case.
The title is Death Proof per the copyright notice on the back of the dvd case.

The current title comes from the spine so this is no longer valid per rules. The quotes around Death Proof I would argue are there for a reason and they draw attention to what the title is. Everything before "Death Proof" has a significantly smaller and different font.

If I am mistaken and modified rules still apply in this case then the title needs to be changed to:

Grindhouse Presents Quentin Tarantino's "Death Proof". That's what the front cover states.
