Addition because of a No-Vote: It's not my task to prove that "Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures" (WDSMP) is the theatrical & television distribution unit; look into the corporate website (corporate.disney.go.com – or wikipedia if you like this more) and the unit's international subsidiaries and their websites. Home Video releases are always handeled by the sister unit "Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment" (WDSHE) or former "Buena Vista Home Entertainment" (BVHE), which is still active in the US. And at last, the rules are pretty clear (quote from Film Details > Media Companies): "If you are unsure of the function performed, do not list the company." There is no proof WDSMP is anything other than the theatrical distribution unit, so the removal is in full accordance with the contribution rules (I don't care about personal preferences, in your local Db you can add anything, but you can't contribute this to Profile Contribution Approved Jul 4 2010 10:16AM | | | | Last edited: by M_E |
