| Posted: | | | | I have a ton of rare and OOP DVDs, but the rarest is probably Criterion's SALO, of which there were only 2,000 made, then quickly recalled, back in 1998. Only a fraction actually made it into the market. Luckily, I bought the day it came out. Criterion is planning to re-release it later this year. |

Did you actually browse the site, checking each title, or is there a tool of some sort to do it automatically? I browsed the site and checked against my online collection. I know most of the titles I own so it wasn't as time consuming as you might think. | | | Chris | | | Last edited: by cmaeditor |

The Midnight Hour (R1) Anguish (R1) Mio in the Land of Faraway (R1) Puppet Master Box Set - original pressing (R1) 1984 (R1) Little Witches (R1) The Bikini Carwash Company (R1) Halloween - 2 disc Limited Edition (R1) Freeway 2: Confessions of a Trickbaby (R1) Riget 1 & 2 - 4 disc set (R2) You are the only person I know (other than myself) who has The Midnight Hour (R1). Probably explains why we're the only one's who've ever voted on an update to the profile |

| Posted: | | | | Salo wasn't recalled; it had a low press run and then Criterion lost the rights to press any more. Little Shop of Horrors, OTOH, was recalled after it was in stores (as was Swamp Thing, though it had been out a couple years already then). I have em all . | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |

I have em all . I really wish they'd redo The Little Shop of Horrors with that Extended Ending which was on that recalled initial release. I am lucky to have seen it on TV once, but I wish I could see it again (...and again, ...and again) | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | I only have what I would term 1 Rare DVD. The Pre-Recall version of the Devil's Advocate before the lawsuit that forced them to Digitally remove the figures from the sculpture in Milton's office....That's the only one I personally would consider rare because to even own it you would have had to have been collecting 6 or 7 years ago I probably have a few other rares, especially some of the early Disney Releases but none that really make a difference in what can be seen in the movie compared to later versions released. | | | Bigger is not better..oh wait, yes it is... |

| Posted: | | | | These are probably the top picks from my collection for rarest. There are quite a few that are more valuable, but probably not so rare. I have a whole bunch of OOP stuf, but I hardly ever see any of these:
Bad Taste - Remastered - Limited Edition - DTS (1987) (lenticular middle finger, Anchor Bay) Brain Damage (Uncut) - Remastered Special Limited Edition (1988) (Silver Cover) Bride of Re-Animator - Special Edition (1990) (Pioneer) CKY2K (2000) (Uncut 1st release) Eaten Alive - Special Edition (1976) (CANCELLED RELEASE) Eugenie de Sade (Uncut) (Full Screen) (1970) (Wild East) Hot Love - Limited Edition (1985) (Jörg Buttgereit) Puppet Master Box Set Tool - Salival (Limited Issue) (2000) |
