Here's a question.

For releases such as the Summerslam Anthology, where you have the whole "WWE/WWF" issue...what do we credit the champions as? Example, Shawn Michaels in 1996. He was the WWF Champion at the time (WWE name change hadn't happened yet), but any references to "WWF" on the DVD are edited out...yet, can you really call him "WWE Champion"?
"I am Andrew Ryan and I am here to ask you a question:
Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his own brow?

No, says the man in Washington. It belongs to the poor.
No, says the man in the Vatican. It belongs to God.
No, says the man in Moscow. It belongs to everyone.

I rejected those answers. Instead, I chose something
different. I chose the impossible. I chose…
Rapture."

Since WWE does it for legal reasons, we should do it as it was at the time.
Signature banned: Reason out of date...

I'd like to start contributing some cast lists for the WWE dvds I have, but I have to admit that after reading this thread, I'm still confused as to what the guidelines are supposed to be.

I've just contributed an update to the Undertaker: He Buries Them Alive dvd, which was missing two credits, but in many cases I changed the roles from "himself" to the character being portrayed.  For instance:

Ted DiBiase as "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase
Jerry Lawler as Jerry "The King" Lawler

Is this correct according to the standards you're trying to establish?

Also, I'm uncertain about how to use the "credited as" field.  Should an entry for Hulk Hogan be something like this: Terry Bollea as Hulk Hogan, credited as Hulk Hogan?  Or would his real name be eliminated from the cast list entirely?

Please let me know.
